Works Supervisor/Surveillance Officer

Who are we looking for? We’re looking for a Works Supervisor / Surveillance Officer to work with our client Main Roads WA, located in Albany , on a fixed term contract until June 2026. Responsibilities Undertake the surveillance of Contract Works. Supervise the Delivery of Works by Direct Management and/or MCW in accordance with the respective technical specifications and scope documentation. Verify that the works are undertaken in accordance with drawings, specifications, quality plans, safety plans, environmental plans and traffic management plans. Supervise the preparation of road building materials in a safe and efficient manner. Identify and assist in implementing improvements to road construction and maintenance processes and techniques to optimise project objectives and targets and report on the outcomes. Monitor performance and review construction processes and associated activities across the Network. Provide regular feedback to the Project / Contract Manager (Delivery) with regards to construction delivery; and Supervise daily operations in accordance with the relevant Safety, Health and Wellbeing (SHW) requirements and environmental plans. What you will bring to the team: 3 - 8 years of relevant experience in civil construction and maintenance works. Strong understanding of road construction and maintenance practices. Ability to interpret and verify compliance with drawings, specifications, safety, environmental, and traffic management plans. Basic Worksite Traffic Management. White Card - Work Safely in the Construction Industry. Strong commitment to Safety, Health and Wellbeing (SHW) requirements. Interested? Apply now.
