Employment Type: Full‑Time, Fixed Term (until February 2027) Salary: HM25-HM30 + Superannuation + Salary Packaging Location: Sunshine Hospital About the Role As a former member of North‑Western Mental Health (NWMH), Western Health has a strong history of employing Specialist International Medical Graduate (SIMG) registrars. Via this pathway, we have supported many international graduates in completing their Australian Fellowship or gaining experience as part of overseas training requirements. In this role you will work in multidisciplinary teams across inpatient, community and subspecialty rotations. Our service is expanding and diversifying to meet the growing needs of Melbourne’s western suburbs, providing tailored educational opportunities and a focus on positive workplace culture and staff wellbeing. Key Responsibilities Provide high‑quality patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Accept accountability for your own actions and seek guidance if situations exceed the scope of practice for an Unaccredited Registrar. Attend training and educational activities, including Grand Rounds, Colloquia and local training opportunities. Attend weekly clinical supervision sessions. Provide clinical support for other Unaccredited Registrars when required. Complete a preference form to identify staffing preferences; participate in ongoing competency assessment via college assessment forms.
