Our unwavering purpose is we are passionate about making the world a happier place through the love of pets Job Description The HSW Business Partner – Vet Services is the strategic lead for health, safety and wellbeing across Greencross’ veterinary operations. In close collaboration with the Veterinary Senior Leadership Team (Vet SLT), the role develops, owns, and drives the Vet Services HSW strategy, embedding safety and wellbeing as a business‑critical enabler of operational success, workforce wellbeing and sustainable growth. As a trusted advisor, the role balances strategic influence and operational leadership, coaching leaders and inspiring teams to strengthen our internal safety capability, ensuring that HSW is seen as a source of value creation. Success relies on building credibility, shaping decision‑making, and leading a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. The role requires a proactive, commercially minded professional who can influence decision‑making, coach leaders, and inspire teams to strengthen our internal safety capability. Success relies on building trusted relationships, challenging constructively, and delivering practical, sustainable safety outcomes. Qualifications Tertiary qualification in HSW or related field (essential). Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desirable). SIRA Return to Work Certificate (preferred). Mental Health First Aid Certificate (highly regarded). Additional Information Strong business acumen with ability to align HSW strategy to business needs. Trusted advisor with excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain credibility, trust, and confidentiality. Change leadership skills, with the ability to challenge the status quo constructively. Proactive problem solver with proven capability to analyse complex issues and make sound decisions.
