This current Educational Leader / 2IC position is available at our Chisholm Centre where you will work closely with our Nominated Supervisor in leading a large team in educational programme and practice and facilitating the implementation of the service vision and philosophy. The role of Educational Leader / 2IC will see you support and mentor educators and children, research and plan professional development tailored to the educators in the team, plan and implement critical reflection forums, collaborate on the service quality improvement plan and self assessment and guide the direction of future planning and programming. Your Essential Requirements and Key Responsibilities: To be considered for this position, you must hold a Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood) or an ACECQA approved equivalent qualification and have Educational Leader experience. Commitment to child safety – a zero tolerance to harm or risk of harm to all children and commitment to a culture of reporting harm or risk of harm to all children. You should possess a Current Working with Children Check NSW, along with First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certificates. Your passion for Early Years learning and development should shine through, aligned with Tillys’ values of professionalism, high‑quality care, inclusive and supportive relationships, unique learning environments, and play‑based learning. Knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and Child Safe Standards is essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are expected to maintain a high professional standard.
