The role We are currently seeking a talented Experienced Engineer – Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) to work closely with our other specialists to deliver multi-disciplined engineering solutions across largescale transport projects. The role sits with in our Transport division and will help deliver Intelligent Transport Systems across ANZ. Ideally the role would be based in our Gold Coast office, but we are open to the role being based with our Transport teams in Brisbane or Sunshine Coast. Responsibilities Ensure that analysis and design tasks undertaken meet appropriate technical standards and the requirements of the client and SMEC. Collaborate with appropriate team members, contributors and stakeholders to maintain quality, timeliness and co-ordination of project deliverables. Contribute to the commercial success of projects and the team. Apply project management principles in carrying out assigned tasks and accomplish project deliverables to the required standard and in a timely manner. Qualifications Min of 3 years’ commercial experience delivering in a similar role Bachelor’s degree in engineering Project experience delivering on complex Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) Experience in the co-ordination, design, and delivery of Intelligent Transport System projects within multi-disciplinary engineering projects Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Able to undertake some travel (domestic or international).
