Position Details Occupation: Teaching / Education Work Type: Permanent - Full Time Applications Close: 24/11/2025 5:00 PM Position No: Role We are currently seeking experienced teachers to join our Science faculty, full time, on an ongoing basis. Commencing in January 2026, you will be responsible for using evidence‑based teaching strategies to deliver a curriculum that engages and challenges each student in line with the School’s effective learner model. Responsibilities Deliver science lessons to students at Year 7–12 level. Apply effective classroom management to maximise learning opportunities. Use evidence‑informed teaching strategies based on research from Rosenshine, Lemov, Hattie, Knight. Implement explicit instruction and frequent formative assessment to check student understanding. Collaborate with colleagues in planning, implementing and reviewing curriculum through design and editing of shared resources. Establish and foster relationships with students, staff and parents. Participate in cultural, pastoral and co‑curricular activities of the School. Qualifications Experience teaching Science at a Year 7–12 level. Strong understanding of principles of the science of learning. Experience delivering a knowledge‑based curriculum that supports innovation among students. Knowledge of research findings relevant to student learning and education. Pursuit of continuous improvement and self‑reflection as a teacher. Commitment to collaborate with colleagues.
