Role Overview Classroom Teacher at Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools . Position commences January 27, 2026 . Responsibilities Commit to the Catholic identity of the school community. Implement student wellbeing approaches in classroom and school settings. Adhere to current Child Safety Standards. Foster a collaborative, positive, team‑based learning culture. Deliver high quality learning and teaching to a range of abilities using evidence‑based strategies, data and feedback. Key Selection Criteria Strong commitment to Catholic identity. Successful approaches to student wellbeing. Knowledge and implementation of current Child Safety Standards. Contribution to a collaborative, positive, team‑based learning culture. Delivery of high quality learning using evidence‑based strategies, data and feedback. Special Requirements Hold accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic Primary School (strongly preferred). A commitment to obtain accreditation may be considered. Commit to child safety and maintain best practices to ensure this and ongoing evaluation of these practices. Demonstrate willingness to adhere to St Bede’s Child Safety and Wellbeing Policy, MACS Code of Conduct and other relevant policies. Be appropriately qualified and hold a current VIT registration.
