About The Team The emergency team consists of several veterinarians and nurses who work in a 24 / 7 hospital facility. Emergency and Critical Care specialists provide a trainee and residency program along with training and guidance opportunities for the emergency team members. The hospital also receives afterhours support from various specialist services to ensure optimal care and treatment plans for all animals. Your New Role The key purpose of this role is to provide high quality veterinary nursing care to animals in The Animal Hospital At Murdoch University. Your Key Responsibilities: Providing all aspects of veterinary nursing care as per the Certificate IV of Veterinary Nursing and the Prescribed Duties of Veterinary Nurses within the Vet Surgeons Act of WA. Triage patients according to hospital policy by phone or on arrival Oversee patient care in the ICU and patient wards. Please refer to the Position Description for further details. What We Offer You This role is a 7-month Fixed Part time. This attracts a remuneration of $71904K $78826K (pro rata) PLUS shift penalties & 17% employer superannuation contributions (with the option to sacrifice 5.5% of the 17% employer superannuation into your salary).
