This role supports clients across Brisbane’s Northside, including Zillmere, within Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes and community access settings. You’ll be providing high-quality, person-centred support—supporting daily living, promoting independence, and helping clients work toward their personal goals. About the role In this role, you will: Provide support with daily living activities, personal care, and community access Support clients with psychosocial disabilities using trauma-informed and recovery-oriented approaches Perform manual handling tasks safely and in line with individual support plans Administer or assist with medication support as required Accurately complete progress notes and report concerns in a timely manner Shifts Working hours vary and may include: Standard shifts from 9:00am to 5:00pm Early morning shifts from 5:00am to 9:00am Sleepover shifts Additional support shifts as required Pay Rates E3.1 (Casual in home and SIL) SCHADS Award E3.1 Casual Rates (before tax): Base hourly rate: $35.15 Afternoon shift (shift ends between 8pm and midnight, Monday to Friday): $38.67 Active Night shift (Finishes after midnight or starts before 6am, Monday to Friday) $39.37 Saturday: $49.21 Sunday: $63.27 Public holiday: $77.33 Your Certificates and Licences: NDIS Workers Screening Check (Current) Working with Children Check (Current) Australian Driver's License Comprehensive Insurance on Vehicle NDIS Orientation Module - Quality, Safety and You First Aid and CPR (Current) Make every shift count.
