The Role You Could Play The Senior Digital Analyst plays a pivotal role in shaping MECCA’s digital performance insights and strategy. Combining deep technical expertise with strong business acumen, this role leads the delivery of actionable insights, advanced analytics, and data storytelling that elevate MECCA’s digital and omnichannel customer experiences. As a senior member of the Digital Analytics team, you will champion best-practice measurement, experimentation, and insight generation across our web, app, and marketing platforms. You will partner closely with digital product, eCommerce, marketing, technology, and data teams to ensure our digital ecosystem is effectively tracked, understood, and continuously optimised. This role balances hands-on technical analysis with strategic influence with mentoring associate analysts, uplifting data maturity, and ensuring MECCA continues to make informed, customer-led decisions through high-quality digital data. Your key responsibilities will include: Deliver actionable insights to enhance customer experience, engagement, and conversion across MECCA’s digital platforms. Lead deep-dive analysis of customer behaviour, product performance, and campaign results using GA4, BigQuery, and Snowflake. Champion data storytelling, translating complex analytics into clear business recommendations. Partner with Digital Product, eCommerce, and Marketing teams to evaluate initiatives, define success metrics, and measure impact. Evolve MECCA’s digital measurement framework, ensuring robust tagging, QA, and data governance across all digital properties. Design and maintain advanced dashboards and automated reports in Tableau and Looker Studio to enable self-service analytics. Support experimentation and optimisation through A/B testing, statistical analysis, and post-test insights. Act as a digital analytics subject matter expert, mentoring team members and driving best practices across MECCA’s data community. What You Will Bring You’re a data-driven storyteller with advanced expertise across digital analytics tools like GA4, BigQuery, Snowflake, and GTM, and strong proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and modelling. You know how to bring numbers to life - transforming complex datasets into meaningful insights and clear, actionable narratives. With deep experience developing dashboards in Tableau and Looker Studio, you create visualisations that drive smarter decisions across teams. Highly organised and detail-oriented, you thrive in agile, cross-functional environments, balancing multiple priorities with ease. A proactive problem-solver with exceptional communication skills, you’re curious about emerging technologies and always looking for ways to optimise, innovate, and elevate MECCA’s digital experience.
