Learn more about us at Job Summary: We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Laboratory Assistant to support our Quality Control and Research & Development teams in the development and evaluation of hair care cosmetic products. This role will assist in the preparation, testing, documentation, and organization of laboratory activities, contributing to the creation of innovative and safe cosmetic solutions. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation of cosmetic formulations for hair care (shampoos, conditioners, treatments, etc.). Perform routine physical-chemical analyses (pH, viscosity, density, assay, appearance, stability). Support in conducting and recording accelerated and long-term stability studies. Prepare samples for internal evaluation and external testing (e.g., microbiology, challenge test). Maintain laboratory organization, ensuring equipment, raw materials, and formulation records are up to date. Assist in quality control checks of raw materials and finished products. Follow good laboratory practices (GLP), including hygiene, safety, and EHS procedures. Participate in experimental planning under guidance and report observations clearly. Support documentation, lab inventory management, and sample traceability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, operations). Requirements: Diploma or technical degree in Chemistry, Cosmetics, Pharmacy, or related field (technical education desirable). Previous lab experience is a plus. Basic knowledge of cosmetic formulation and/or quality control testing. Attention to detail, organization, and willingness to learn. Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and in a team. Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) is a plus. Differentials: Experience in hair care formulation or evaluation. Knowledge of regulatory aspects in cosmetics. Experience in handling emulsions, surfactants, and rheological agents.
