Alfred Health supports the local community while addressing complex state-wide needs, including trauma, organ transplantation and HIV/AIDS diagnostics. APS conducts all pathology testing for multiple hospitals, offering a comprehensive range of services through five specialised units: Anatomical Pathology, Clinical Biochemistry, Haematology, Microbiology, and Human Molecular Pathology. Position Summary The Human Molecular Pathology unit at Alfred Pathology are looking for a Medical Laboratory Technician to support diagnostic services with a particular focus in the areas of molecular haematology and oncology. The scope of the role includes routine sample processing, white cell isolation, nucleic acid extraction, PCR setup and other laboratory administrative tasks.
