We have an exciting opportunity for a driven hands‑on Market Executive to join our team, based in Sydney. This role would be a great opportunity for an experienced sommelier eager to use their industry contacts and progress into fine wine sales, or alternatively, an individual wanting to take their wine sales journey to the next level, ready to learn and grow. If you thrive in a dynamic sales environment, are a self‑starter, passionate about wine, and excel at building strong client relationships within the wine industry, we want to hear from you. Key Responsibilities You will be responsible for executing business development and sales strategies across Australia, focusing on expanding Craggy Range’s presence. This includes identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities and working closely with our Australian distributor to maximise market reach. You’ll prepare and deliver sales presentations, build strong client relationships through visits and tastings, and represent the brand at events and shows. Partnering with our New Zealand based Executive Director, you’ll monitor market trends, support operational tasks, and help drive revenue growth by generating leads, engaging clients, and closing sales. You’ll also ensure Craggy Range wines are available at key locations and complete regular business reporting. What You’ll Bring 2+ years’ proven experience in wine industry sales (e.g., Sommelier or distribution model) with a strong track record managing direct relationships with AU/NZ importers or distributors. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, sales reporting, and financially literate with the ability to read P&L statements. Confident in conducting tastings, public speaking and representing the brand at industry events. Self‑motivated, eager to learn, and capable of working independently and collaboratively.
