Insolvency & Restructuring Senior Accountant MERCHANTS ADVISORY INSOLVENCY AND RESTRUCTURING SENIOR ACCOUNTANT About the Opportunity Are you looking to progress your career in insolvency and restructuring? We're growing and looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team. You'll have personalised mentoring and coaching and the opportunity to continually learn, develop and progress your career with significant opportunities for career progression based on merit, skills and interests. You'll have the opportunity to work on interesting projects, learning insolvency and restructuring skills on a variety of matters and types of matters. You'll also have opportunities to share your technical knowledge and coach our more junior team members, celebrating their development with them. Working with our two Principals, Senior Director, Senior Manager and Managers, you'll have ownership of your own matters while being supported by a Manager, and collaborate on larger and more complex matters, delivering work with excellence, integrity and a strong work ethic. This is a full time role and you can be based anywhere in Australia. We embrace hybrid work – most of us enjoy being in the office with our colleagues about 2-3 days a week, and working from home about 2-3 days a week. Required for this position : Approximately 2 to 3+ years of professional insolvency and / or restructuring experience in Australia A tertiary qualification in accounting or a related area Commenced or completed your CA / CPA Strong insolvency technical knowledge The ability to work autonomously and in a team Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent attention to detail Enthusiasm about your work The ability to learn quickly The following are highly regarded but are not mandatory requirements : Experience with all types of corporate and personal insolvency and restructuring matters, as long as you're willing to learn to conduct these An interest to complete or completion of the ARITA Advanced Certification Proficiency with Insol6 What's our Application Process?
