About Us: We are a busy and well-respected legal firm seeking a motivated and organised administration assistant to join our team. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone looking to start their career in the legal sector. Role Overview: As a Junior Legal Assistant, you will provide administrative support to our lawyers and office staff. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office, with opportunities to learn and grow within the firm. Key Responsibilities: Preparing, formatting, and editing documents using Microsoft Word Managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and organising meetings via Outlook Handling phone calls, emails, and general office correspondence Collecting, distributing and posting correspondence Filing, scanning, and maintaining organised records and documents Supporting staff with various administrative tasks Assisting with relief reception duties, including greeting clients and managing incoming calls Carrying out other general office tasks as required Requirements: Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook Strong communication skills and a professional, friendly demeanour Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions A proactive attitude and willingness to learn A full driving licence is preferable for errands and post collection No previous legal experience is required — full training will be provided on the job.
