Your Role As a key member of DLi’s Workforce Rostering Team, this position plays a crucial role in ensuring that clients receive consistent, high‑quality support by delivering efficient and well‑planned rosters that meet individual needs and funding requirements. Working collaboratively with Frontline Managers and Team Leaders, you will be responsible for coordinating and maintaining accurate rosters across our Supported Independent Living (SIL), Social and Community Participation (SCP), and other service programs. You’ll take a proactive approach to shift coverage, problem solving, and continuous improvement—ensuring every client has the right support, from the right person, at the right time. Key Responsibilities Shift & Roster Management Coordinate and maintain rosters to meet client support needs, ensuring all shifts are covered in line with client funding and Roster of Care (ROC) requirements. Respond to staff and client communications regarding rostered shifts, actioning updates promptly and professionally. Monitor roster accuracy and compliance, including contract hours, overtime, and agency utilisation. Anticipate and manage risks to client safeguarding, escalating issues as required. Collaborate with managers to review staffing allocations, match staff to clients, and identify resource gaps. Conduct regular reviews of rosters, including quarterly primary staff audits, ROC updates, and roster rollovers. Prepare and maintain accurate service overviews, attend site team meetings, and support new staff onboarding through orientation and buddy shifts. Analyse rostering data to identify patterns in dropped shifts, overtime, and agency usage, contributing to service efficiency and workforce planning. Administration & Continuous Improvement Ensure all roster information is accurately recorded and available to staff within required timeframes. Maintain comprehensive records of actions, communications, and changes in rostering systems. Display a high degree of computer literacy, utilising rostering and workforce management systems effectively. Contribute to the development and refinement of rostering procedures, systems, and best‑practice scheduling models. Actively participate in team initiatives, bringing forward ideas to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and staff satisfaction. Apply knowledge of relevant Enterprise Agreements, legislation, and NDIS frameworks to ensure compliance and fairness in rostering practices. Uphold Work Health and Safety (WHS) principles, reporting risks and contributing to a safe and supportive work environment.
