Waterside Bistro is one of Sydney's most unique waterfront venues, surrounded by national park, loved by locals, and buzzing with marina life seven days a week. We are looking for a committed and experienced Full Time Cook to join our close knit team and help us deliver fresh, consistent, high quality food to our customers. About the Role This is a hands on kitchen position ideal for someone who takes pride in their craft and thrives in a fast paced, friendly environment. You will work closely with our Chefs, Bistro Manager, and small team to run day to day operations, maintain high standards, and contribute to a positive culture. This role is primarily daytime work, usually from 7:30am to 3:30pm, giving you the opportunity to enjoy your evenings at home or with your family. Key Responsibilities Cook and prepare Bistro style meals such as grill, fry, salads, pasta, and savory items Assist with daily preparation for service and presentation Maintain a clean, organised, and safe kitchen station Support stock rotation, ordering, and waste minimisation Work collaboratively with the front of house and back of house team Proactive and work in an efficient manner during rush hours Comply with food and safety hygiene procedures Order and check delivery docket from the suppliers About You Previous experience in a cafe or bistro style kitchen Reliable, consistent, and confident during busy service Able to work independently and as part of a team Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen procedures Positive attitude and pride in delivering great food Available for weekday and weekend shifts Must have your own transport as there is no public transport to the marina What We Offer Full time stability in a beautiful waterfront location Primarily daytime hours 7:30am to 3:30pm offering a great work life balance Supportive team culture and a respectful workplace Opportunity to grow with a busy and expanding marina business A role where your effort is noticed and appreciated #J-18808-Ljbffr
