Mechanical Supervisor Site Works (FIFO Perth or DIDO Geraldton) 6 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants Join a Family Orientated Rapidly Growing Company Work with a Professional Team with Opportunity to Advance 9/5 Roster (Long term maintenance project) Site Works (FIFO ex Perth or DIDO Geraldton) Purpose of the Position GHS Solutions has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Site Supervisor for site works (FIFO ex Perth or DIDO ex Geraldton) on a 9/5 Roster. Candidate must have a strong knowledge of mechanical repairs and coating. Geographical Coverage Regional Western Australia Licence Requirements Trade Certificate (Boilermaker / Welder) Construction Industry White Card Drivers Licence MSIC (or willing to obtain) Schedule 26 The Site Supervisor role would need to be able to excel in the following key areas Active and safe supervision of all activities for our site personnel Lead regular toolbox talks, work and perform daily site activities and monitoring of all works undertaken Safety focus, ensuring site personnel operate to safe systems of work Assist with scheduling of employees at all stages of the works Delegate and direct site activities to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery Active problem solving and creative solutions orientation is essential Delivery work safely, on time and within budget, with an expected high quality and high level of service to our clients Proven ability to successfully deliver works Applicants must have an open mind and willingness to work collaboratively, continually learn, develop and support GHS Continuous Improvement culture in a systems management environment This Role Would Suit An Individual With Minimum 5 years supervision experience Proven track record in a similar role Solid trade background Experience with fabrication works and also mining activities Knowledge and experience in industry standards Schedule 26 training Other Abilities MEM05024 Perform Welding Supervision or equivalent will be highly regarded Great communication skills Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products Attention to detail Work in a team environment GHS Group is a quality assured diversified industrial solutions provider working across regional Western Australia.
