Job Description Insurance Solutions Specialist Location : Melbourne, Brisbane, Edward Street, Australia | Hybrid Why You Will Love It Here Flexibility : Hybrid Work Model Your Future: Income Protection Insurance & Salary Continuance Work/Life Balance: Generous Bereavement & Compassionate leave Your Wellbeing: Private Health Insurance discount, Primary & Secondary Paid Parental leave, Death & TPD Insurance Diversity & Inclusion: Committed to Welcoming, Celebrating and Thriving on Diversity Training: Hands-On, Team-Customized, including SS&C University Extra Perks: Discounts on fitness clubs, travel and more What You Will Get To Do Understand the compliance obligations of my role and ensure that there are controls to meet them Raise any concerns related to poor compliance or risk management Highlight any risks to management to make sure they are considered and managed Complete all mandatory training required to perform my role and understand the regulatory context of the organisation Co-ordinate & administer insurance related services to corporate superannuation clients and employers (where applicable), members and beneficiaries Manage end-to-end insurance application and underwriting lodgement processes, including communication of insurer decisions and updates to member accounts Prepare and submit claims documentation, follow up on outstanding requirements, and coordinate referrals to the trustee services team Oversee the full lifecycle of insurance claims, ensuring effective communication and coordination with insurers, clients, claimants, members, beneficiaries, and their representatives Protecting your super, putting members interests first and improving member insurance outcome updates for member accounts Provide empathetic and compassionate support to vulnerable clients, ensuring their needs are met with care and professionalism Contribute to continuous improvement by capturing data, enhancing processes, and sharing knowledge to improve system capabilities Monitor and respond to inquiries via the insurance phone line / Help Hub Chat, including participation in early morning and late shift rosters as required Uphold and promote SS&C’s Core Values of Accountability, Respect, Innovation, Focus, and Community in all aspects of service delivery What You Will Bring 2-3 years’ experience in the insurance and superannuation industry, specifically in claims and/or underwriting administration (preferred); experience in the administration of superannuation funds (preferred).
