The Opportunity This is a chance to join one of our fast-growing operating companies Catch‑e. Catch‑e is a trusted Australian SaaS platform serving the automotive finance, novated leasing, salary packaging, and fleet management sectors for nearly two decades and is entering an exciting new phase of AI-driven transformation. We're looking for a Chief Product & Technology Officer (CPTO) to lead Catch‑e through its next chapter of product innovation, technical modernisation, and operational scale. Reporting directly to the CEO and partnering closely with Banyan's Product & Technology leadership, this pivotal role blends strategic vision with hands‑on execution. You’ll shape how Catch‑e evolves, modernising its platform, embedding AI across the organisation, and delivering the next generation of intelligent, secure, and scalable fleet solutions. You’ll be instrumental in building the company’s new development centre in Chennai, India, leading talented teams across both India and Australia, and positioning Catch‑e to stay ahead in a rapidly changing, AI‑enabled market. What You'll Do Lead the Product & Technology vision – Define and deliver Catch‑e’s dual transformation strategy: modernising the platform for resilience, security, and scale, while accelerating AI‑powered product innovation. Own the roadmap – Translate customer needs and market disruption into a clear product vision that drives commercial growth and strengthens competitive advantage. Modernise and secure the platform – Oversee the migration from PHP4 to event‑driven and microservice architectures and cloud‑native infrastructure, ensuring ISO compliance and robust cybersecurity. Accelerate AI‑driven innovation – Introduce new, intelligent capabilities, such as AI co‑pilots, chat‑first workflows, and predictive insights, that transform the user experience and reduce cost‑to‑serve. Build and scale high‑performing teams – Recruit, mentor, and empower Product, Engineering, QA, DevOps, and Data teams across Australia and selected offshore locations. Champion engineering excellence – Embed agile practices, automation, and continuous improvement to increase delivery velocity and quality. Partner across the business – Collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, and Customer Success to align the roadmap with commercial priorities, and communicate progress clearly at the board level. What You'll Bring Extensive experience in senior product and technology leadership role (CPTO, CTO, or CPO) within SaaS or enterprise software environments. Proven success in modernising and scaling complex, regulated SaaS platforms. Strong technical foundation in PHP and cloud‑native architectures, with the ability to guide transformation toward modern frameworks, AI / ML integration, and data‑driven systems. Deep understanding of security and compliance frameworks, including ISO compliance and the Australian Privacy Act. Demonstrated ability to define and deliver AI‑enabled roadmaps that drive innovation and new revenue opportunities. Experience leading cross‑functional teams and fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and accountability. Exceptional communication skills – able to translate technical strategy into clear, compelling narratives for executive and board stakeholders. Bonus Points Experience within the fleet management, automotive finance, or salary packaging sectors. Hands‑on knowledge of microservices, event‑driven architecture, and DevOps automation. Familiarity with AI‑driven user paradigms such as chat‑first interfaces, multimodal input, or agentic workflows. Success in building or scaling offshore development teams and leveraging AI to reduce cost‑to‑serve.
