Join Leon Cycle as our AU/NZ Operations Manager Are you a seasoned operations professional with a passion for driving efficiency and customer satisfaction? Leon Cycle, a global retailer of premium electric bikes with thriving operations across Australia and New Zealand, is seeking a dynamic and hands‑on AU/NZ Operations Manager to lead our operational performance. This pivotal leadership role oversees critical functions including logistics, customer service, sales forecasting, and supply chain optimisation. You'll be instrumental in ensuring cost efficiency, systemisation, and high customer satisfaction across both our B2B and B2C channels. What You’ll Do: Oversee all ANZ inbound logistics, including customs clearance, import procedures, and inland transportation. Manage B2B and B2C customer service operations to ensure high satisfaction and performance. Develop and lead product sales forecasting in collaboration with our Demand Planner and overseas factories. Coordinate with global production facilities for timely goods supply based on accurate forecasts. Lead negotiations and manage relationships with 3PLs and transport partners to reduce costs and enhance delivery. Supervise warehousing, distribution, and last‑mile operations in AU and NZ. Develop, implement, and formalise operational SOPs to support systemisation and scalability. Continuously review and improve business processes and systems, with a strong focus on automation and IT. Collaborate closely with the CEO on strategy development and business growth initiatives. Supervise and mentor a team of 4+ staff across operations and logistics. Minimum 3‑5 years of team leadership experience is required for this role. Foster a positive, respectful, and high‑performance team culture. Drive operational KPIs across service levels, logistics efficiency, and cost optimisation. What You’ll Bring: Qualifications or extensive experience in operations, logistics, supply chain, or business management. Minimum 5‑7 years of operations or logistics management experience is required. Ability to solve problems and make things happen. Strong negotiation, planning, and people leadership skills. High competency in IT systems (Excel, eCommerce, ERP, inventory, collaborative platforms). AI experience a plus. A strong understanding of the Australian and NZ logistics landscape. Ability to mentor diverse team members and build an inclusive team culture. A quick‑thinking, adaptable, collaborative, and calm approach under pressure. Australian/NZ work rights are required for this position. Success in this role looks like: Reduced 3PL and freight cost per unit. Timely inbound and outbound deliveries across AU/NZ. Efficient, well‑documented SOPs for all operational workflows. An engaged and productive operations team. Clear automation and systemisation of manual processes.
