Classroom Teacher (Year 6) – Permanent Part-Time (0.40 FTE) Northview State School - Mackay Work days: Monday & Tuesday each week About The Role You will work collaboratively with our experienced teachers to engage, challenge, and support Year 6 students in their learning journey. Learning is at the heart of what we do, and we’re looking for a teacher who brings energy, creativity, and care to the classroom. We’re Looking For Someone Who Demonstrates a positive and collaborative attitude and enjoys being part of a team. Shows flexibility and a willingness to learn within a supportive school culture. Is deeply committed to student wellbeing, engagement, and success. Essential Skills and Experience Current Queensland teacher registration. Ability to build strong, positive relationships with students, colleagues, and families. Effective classroom management and communication skills. Desirable (but not essential) Experience teaching upper primary students. Familiarity with the Australian Curriculum and digital learning tools. (Support is available for less experienced teachers.)
