Overview HammondCare Waratah is currently looking for a Part‑time Specialised Carer – Residential Carers to join our team. With a unique model of care that places residents’ needs as your number one priority, you will help create a home away from home for our residents. Responsibilities Provide personal care – showering, grooming, toileting etc. Support life engagement and residents with levels of dementia. Recognise, report and respond appropriately to changes in residents’ conditions within your skills and competencies. Complete onsite orientation, buddy shifts, and work under support of registered nurses and managers. Qualifications Passion for serving elderly people and desire to make a difference. Available to commit to a range of shifts, including nights and weekends. Team‑player with ability to work independently and show initiative. Knowledge and experience of people living with dementia. Certification: Cert III or Cert IV in Aged Care (viewed favourably).
