Opportunity Are you a Disability Support Worker or Home Carer looking for something different? Join us as a School Bus Aide and make a real impact on the lives of children with disabilities. This role is perfect if you love interacting with kids and want to start and end each day knowing you’ve made a difference. Kinetic are looking for a Bus Aide to provide assistance to school bus drivers in the operation of school bus services, ensuring efficient running and passenger safety. A Bus Aide may operate school services, charters and special events. You’ll work split shifts (morning and afternoon), supporting students on their school bus journeys and ensuring their safety, comfort and wellbeing. Key Responsibilities Assist in the safe boarding and exiting of students, including those who are ambulant or use wheelchairs. Supervise student behaviour to maintain a safe and respectful environment on board. Attend to individual student needs, including liaising with the driver about comfort factors such as heating and cooling. Engage positively with students, demonstrating a caring and supportive attitude throughout the journey. Foster a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere by initiating appropriate conversation and building rapport with students. Why Kinetic?
