About The Role Due to our continued growth, we are recruiting a Project Quotations Engineer based at our Head Office in Dandenong South or Perth WA. Be effective, prompt and efficient with handover of information to the Project Delivery team when orders are received. Add genuine value to the customer's business by developing a strong understanding of the relationship between our products and the specific customer's needs. Provide guidance and assistance using product knowledge to help clients make good choices. Thoroughly review customer specifications to determine application needs or specific requests for each requirement to properly select equipment to be quoted to ensure Bray's offer complies with customer requirements. Read and decipher Project Specifications and make product selections in conjunction with the front-end Sales team and client requirements. Gather proposals, specifications and related documents and liaise with stakeholders to convert specifications to quotations/tenders to meet customer's requirements. Prepare accurate tender documentation and costings for Projects and submit them prior to deadlines. Work together with various departments (engineering, production, quality, logistics, etc.) as needed to ensure that our best efforts are included in all our bids and orders. Utilise cost methodologies, tools, and appropriate software models and packages to prepare and maintain reliable and accurate data. Determine cost estimate targets during the design and development process, recommending cost effective products and solutions. What You Will Bring to the Role Demonstrated experience (and solid understanding) working in the valve industry, specifically in valve automation including specialised knowledge of automating knife gate, ball and butterfly valves. Demonstrated experience reviewing customer specifications and bidding on projects. Well-developed problem solving skills and providing complete solution capabilities. Experience working in a project and in a team environment. Strong customer service, sales and relationship skills. Willingness to pick a phone and have a conversation with customers to resolve technical queries and ambiguities. Intermediate to advanced computer skills in Microsoft-based tools (Outlook, Word and Excel) and ERP software. An Engineering degree (Mechanical/Chemical/Electrical) is preferred.
