Job Description As an Azure Generative AI Consultant, you will work directly with NCS Australia's clients to solve their most complex challenges. Your primary focus will be the hands‑on, end‑to‑end delivery of bespoke AI solutions on the Azure platform. This involves designing and developing intelligent agents using Azure OpenAI Service , implementing sophisticated Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) patterns with Azure AI Search , and building the robust data pipelines and APIs needed to support these applications using services like Azure Data Factory and Azure API Management . Beyond pure development, this role requires you to ensure the operational excellence and strategic success of your solutions. You will implement CI/CD workflows with Azure DevOps , monitor application performance in Azure Monitor , and act as a trusted technical advisor to our clients. A key part of your role will be presenting compelling Proof of Value demonstrations and clearly communicating the business impact of your technical work to a diverse range of client stakeholders. As a Generative AI Consultant, you will be at the very forefront of our clients' transformation journey, working with cutting‑edge technology to solve complex, real‑world problems and delivering tangible impact for our clients. Qualifications Proven experience in software development with proficiency in Python. Hands‑on experience across the Microsoft Azure platform, particularly with Azure Functions , Azure Data Factory , and Azure API Management . Strong understanding of Generative AI concepts, RAG patterns, and services like Azure OpenAI Service and Azure AI Search . Familiarity with CI/CD principles and tools within Azure DevOps . Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage confidently with client stakeholders. A natural problem‑solver with a proven ability to translate complex business requirements into elegant technical solutions. A collaborative spirit, a passion for continuous learning, and the ability to work effectively within a team environment. Relevant Microsoft certifications such as Azure AI Engineer Associate (AI-102) or Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204) are highly regarded.
