ABOUT THE ROLE An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR or MR truck driver/labourer with a traffic control ticket to join the road crew on a rotational roster. SHIFT REQUIREMENTS Days 05:00‑14:00 Afternoons 13:30‑22:00 (on call after shift till 5:00 am) Weekends: Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday On‑call when not working weekend shift REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE MR truck licence (HR or MR licence) White card or construction blue card (physical copy) Traffic control with stop/slow (desirable) Traffic control ticket Good level of physical fitness Knowledge of suitable access for an HR/MR truck on SE QLD roads, including safe access and bridge restrictions Willing to commit to a rotational roster with weekend work Reliable transport to get to and from the depot Relevant competencies Previous experience in a civil environment driving trucks to site, road repairs, bridge repairs and traffic control Experience working around live traffic and main traffic routes (preferred) Ability to look after the vehicle, check levels, tyre condition and overall safety, reporting any issues Successful completion of a paid pre‑employment medical, including drug and alcohol test (paid by AWX) WORK PERKS Full uniform provided Excellent pay rate + penalties and allowances (including construction payable) Ongoing role Local work – must live within 30 minutes of the Nerang depot Free onsite parking Great team environment Safety focused company HOW TO APPLY Click apply now to send through your resume.
