Job Type Permanent position | Full time position Job Description Industrial Engineer I at Pastai – Full Time (at least 38 hours per week) to join their business. The main job duties are as follows: Evaluating departmental structures and responsibilities by auditing team hierarchies, production data, and manufacturing documentation to uncover inefficiencies and process overlaps within pasta and sauce production lines. Observing operational workflows in real‑time factory scenarios to formulate benchmarks aimed at streamlining labour activities, improving workstation efficiency, and enhancing task allocation across production and packaging areas. Investigating spatial usage, employee deployment, and production output metrics to identify ideal configurations for tools, machinery, personnel, and processes within the food‑manufacturing environment. Crafting innovative blueprints for production tools, processing systems, and factory layout frameworks designed to support high‑volume pasta and ready‑meal manufacturing operations. Defining technical criteria and selecting appropriate resources, including raw ingredients, packaging materials, and logistics systems, to enable effective production and distribution processes. Coordinating workforce alignment with supply chain timing to synchronize ingredient supply, equipment readiness, and production scheduling in line with delivery commitments. Creating operational guidelines for equipment setup, maintenance protocols, quality assurance procedures, and hygiene compliance testing to meet Australian food‑manufacturing standards and regulatory criteria. Performing technical evaluations of production machinery and system outputs to confirm performance levels, ensure consistency of pasta quality, and identify any deviations from baseline standards. Overseeing maintenance and repair operations while integrating feedback from ongoing assessments to refine production infrastructure, process efficiency, and future engineering improvements. Requirements Relevant qualification is required. At least one year of experience. Excellent communication skills, able to work under pressure in a fast‑paced manufacturing setting.
