Crowne Plaza Terrigal Pacific is looking for an Event Planner who brings creativity, calm, and a little spark to every event. About the Role In this role, you’ll partner closely with clients, hotel departments, and external suppliers to coordinate conferences, meetings, weddings, social functions, and special events. You’ll manage event logistics from confirmation through to execution, ensuring every detail is delivered seamlessly. This position suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment, is confident with client relationships, and enjoys bringing ideas to life. Key Responsibilities Coordinate all aspects of event planning, including proposals, function sheets, run-of-day logistics, and billing Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions Liaise with internal departments such as Food & Beverage, Banquets, Housekeeping, and Front Office to ensure accurate briefing and delivery Maintain accurate event documentation, timelines, contracts, and billing in line with hotel processes Conduct onsite inspections, client meetings, and post-event follow-ups Support revenue and sales targets through upselling opportunities Ensure all events comply with hotel standards, safety requirements, and brand expectations About You Experience in event planning or coordination, ideally in hotels or hospitality Strong organisational and administrative skills with exceptional attention to detail Confidence communicating with clients, suppliers, and internal teams Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks, and manage multiple events at once A collaborative mindset and a genuine commitment to guest service Flexibility to work a rotating roster where required, including occasional weekends or evenings based on business needs What We Offer A supportive, inclusive workplace with opportunities to grow your career Access to IHG’s global training programs and development pathways Hotel and partner discounts across the IHG network worldwide A vibrant team culture where your creativity and ideas are valued Beachside location with a dynamic and rewarding working environment How to Apply If you’re passionate about delivering exceptional events and want to be part of a team that creates unforgettable experiences, we’d love to hear from you.
