ABOUT THE ROLE This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the frontline team ensuring the safety and efficiency of aircraft operations. Your role involves handling critical tasks such as bagroom operations, loading and unloading, operating specialised equipment, and ensuring the precise receipting and dispatching of aircraft. Every day offers a new challenge and a chance to make a real impact. YOUR DUTIES Perform bagroom functions, including scanning and manual handling of luggage. Load and unload baggage and freight efficiently. Manage aircraft receipt and dispatch procedures. Execute aircraft pushback operations safely. Provide essential water and waste services. Shift penalties for early morning, evening, and overnight shifts. Additional pay for weekend work (time and a half on Saturdays, double time on Sundays). Company‑provided uniform. KEY SELECTION CRITERIA Safety Awareness : A proactive approach to safety, with a thorough understanding of safety procedures and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. Attention to Detail : High level of accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard and in compliance with safety protocols. Team Collaboration : Ability to work effectively in a team environment, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach. Punctuality and Reliability : Demonstrated reliability and punctuality, with a commitment to fulfilling shift responsibilities. Adaptability : Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and conditions in a dynamic airport environment. ESSENTIALS High proficiency in spoken and written English. A valid Driver's License (including Provisional License). Ability to pass Drug, Alcohol, and Audio tests (cost reimbursed after 6 months of employment). Capability of obtaining an ASIC card (cost reimbursed after 6 months of employment). Flexibility to work a 7‑day rotating roster, including weekends and Public Holidays (e.g., Christmas). Capacity to undertake 4‑hour shifts per day. Ability to work shifts spanning 11:00. Commitment to a minimum of 32 hours per fortnight. Available for a 1‑week full‑time paid training.
