About the Role: We are seeking motivated, physically fit, experienced HR Drivers to join our team You will operate company vehicles to collect hard or green waste from designated areas, working alongside offsiders where you will be required to assist them loading the collection vehicle you are operating. Reporting to the Leading Hand or Supervisor, you will ensure waste is collected and disposed of efficiently and in line with all company and regulatory standards. This role requires a focus on safety, vehicle maintenance, and exceptional customer service, with early starts required. Details of the Position: Casual role (full‑time hours) - potential for full‑time role. Operate waste management vehicles. Ensure waste loads are secure and within legal limits. Conduct and document daily vehicle inspections. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure compliance with council procedures. Use iPads and complete daily run sheets, checklists and required documentation. Manual handling – assisting offsiders load vehicles. Communicate effectively with supervisors to address any service‑related issues. About you: Current HR driver’s license essential (held for a minimum of 2 years). Proven experience in the waste industry or a related field (preferred but not essential). Strong communication skills for interaction with staff, management, and customers. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. Physically fit – able to assist offsiders load collection vehicles.
