Part-Time Shift Supervisor - Enfield Aquatic Centre Join the Enfield Aquatic Centre team as a Part‑Time Shift Supervisor. This role is a maximum term contract available until June 2026, with a minimum commitment of 19 hours per week (3 shifts). Hourly rate $38.01 – $45.14 plus weekend penalty rates, 12% Super and annual and personal leave. Your Position In this hands‑on leadership role you will supervise daily shift operations and ensure a safe, enjoyable and professional environment for staff and visitors alike. Your Responsibilities Supervise and support lifeguards, customer service and program staff during shift operations Monitor patron safety, enforce Conditions of Entry and respond to incidents as needed Oversee hire group bookings, manage space allocation and communicate with user groups Operate and monitor pool plant, filtration and chemical systems Conduct water testing, pool maintenance and cleaning procedures Provide first aid and lifeguard support when required Act as Chief Warden in emergencies and lead staff response Promote the Centre’s programs and maintain positive customer relations Qualifications Current RLSSA Pool Lifeguard Certificate (including CPR) Pool Plant Qualification Current First Aid Certificate Current Working with Children Check Experience leading frontline teams in an aquatic environment Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills Technical troubleshooting experience with aquatic plant operations Availability to work out of hours and on weekends as required Key Requirements Willingness to complete pre‑employment screening, which may include a pre‑employment medical examination and police check.
