We are proud to be working with Metro South Hospital and Health Service (MSH) to promote this important position dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families across southern Queensland. As the Clinical Nurse Child Health Primary Health Care (Identified) you'll provide advanced clinical care, cultural leadership and education to support children and families in accessing high‑quality culturally responsive health services. This is a permanent full‑time role with real purpose blending professional excellence with community impact. The Inala Centre of Excellence is home to innovative models of care including the Mums and Bubs program, specialist GP and allied health services and outreach initiatives designed to improve access, self‑care and choice for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families. Your Key Contributions Deliver advanced nursing and child health care services in a culturally safe, holistic and family‑centred way. Provide leadership and mentorship to other nurses, students and health workers. Work collaboratively with families, Elders and community partners to deliver care aligned with local cultural protocols. Contribute to health promotion programmes addressing key child health issues such as nutrition, respiratory conditions and chronic disease management. Participate in community outreach and education sessions empowering families with knowledge and support. About You To identify as an Aboriginal and / or Torres Strait Islander person under Section 25 of the Anti‑Discrimination Act (Qld). Current registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA). A Bachelor of Nursing (or equivalent) and postgraduate qualification in Child Health.
