About the role We have multiple opportunities, casual to begin with and potential permanent in the longer term. We are seeking individuals with roadside maintenance experience including Asphalting, Flocon driving, vegetation removal, litter pick up, graffiti removal, and other works. These roles are available for an immediate start in the north and southeast of Melbourne. You may be operating from our clients Southeast or Northern Depot, you'll play a crucial part in the construction and maintenance of roads, highways, and other vital infrastructure projects. Responsibilities Assist with all aspects of Flo‑Con operating, asphalt laying including set‑up, placement, raking & shoveling. Assist in the preparation, laying, and finishing of asphalt on roads, footpaths, and other surfaces. Perform manual labor tasks, including shoveling, raking, and compacting asphalt. Work alongside the hand crew to ensure safe and efficient project completion. Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations. Graffiti, litter and vegetation removal (as required). What are we looking for? Experience as a Flocon Operator or Asphalt Labourer Experience as a roadside maintenance worker HR Licence White Card Strong understanding of safe operating procedures and a commitment to workplace health and safety Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making skills The ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions Available ASAP Miepol is an equal opportunity employer.
