TCS has been carbon neutral in its operations across 11 countries, 12 delivery centers and 18 offices in Asia Pacific since This is only the initial stage in TCS' journey as we strive to achieve long-term net zero emissions by Frontend Engineer with expertise in React, Next.js, Contentful, GCP / Azure, and DevOps is primarily responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable, high-performance, and user-friendly web applications using a modern tech stack. This role involves managing the entire frontend development lifecycle, from integrating with a headless CMS to deploying on cloud platforms using CI/CD pipelines. Key Responsibilities Headless CMS Integration: Integrate front-end applications with headless Content Management Systems (CMS) like Contentful using RESTful or GraphQL APIs to manage and deliver content dynamically. Performance Optimization: Optimize web applications for maximum speed, scalability, and SEO, leveraging Next.js features such as Server-Side Rendering (SSR), Static Site Generation (SSG), and image optimization. API Integration: Collaborate with backend teams to integrate APIs and services, handling data exchange, state management (e.g., Redux, Context API), and authentication flows. Cloud & DevOps Collaboration: Work closely with DevOps teams to manage cloud infrastructure (GCP / Azure) and implement CI/CD pipelines for efficient build, test, and deployment processes. Code Quality & Best Practices: Write clean, modular, and well-documented code, participate in code reviews, and enforce frontend coding standards and best practices. Collaboration: Work within agile methodologies, collaborating effectively with product managers, UI / UX designers, and other engineers to translate designs and requirements into technical solutions. Required Skills and Qualifications Framework Experience: In-depth, hands-on experience with React.js and Next.js. CMS Knowledge: Familiarity with headless CMS platforms, specifically Contentful. Cloud Platforms: Exposure to cloud services and infrastructure management on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Microsoft Azure. DevOps Tools: Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (Git / GitHub), and potentially containerization (Docker / Kubernetes). API Skills: Proficiency in integrating with RESTful and / or GraphQL APIs. Testing: Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress) is a plus. Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication and collaboration abilities. Education: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is typically required.
