Expression of Interest – Accreditation Specialist - Construction Materials Testing The National Association of Testing Authorities, Australia (NATA) is Australia’s national accreditation body. In this role, you’ll be based in our Rhodes office, where we’ll provide full training in the assessment of laboratories within our Materials, Assets and Products sector, starting with construction materials testing and expanding into other technical areas over time. About the role: Organise, lead and conduct assessments of laboratories against criteria based on ISO/IEC 17025 Conduct assessments at client facilities with the support of technical experts Prepare technical reports and follow-up matters arising from assessments Manage client and stakeholder relationships Respond to existing and new client enquiries Develop a strong understanding of accreditation criteria Provide advice to technical experts, clients and the public on NATAs policies and technical requirements Intrastate and interstate travel is required Skills and experience Tertiary qualification in a scientific, engineering or related discipline with relevant professional experience You understand management system principles and quality assurance activities, and we’ll support you in applying these in a practical setting. You’re confident in planning and delivering your responsibilities, and we’ll give you the space to do so effectively. You’ve built strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, and we value your ability to connect and collaborate. You’re a team player who communicates well and works comfortably with others. You bring intermediate skills in software applications and databases, and we’ll help you grow your confidence with new systems. You’re open to expanding your skill set to meet evolving business needs, and we’re here to support that growth. Previous auditing experience would be highly desirable, although training will be provided. Salary and Conditions The salary on commencement is equivalent to a total remuneration package of $124,573 per annum (inclusive of superannuation).
