Our National Operations Centre (NOC) is the hub of Allied’s 24/7 national security operations, coordinating field teams, managing incidents, and ensuring client protection and operational continuity. We are seeking a motivated NOC Team Leader to provide frontline leadership and operational support within this mission-critical environment. Position Summary The NOC Team Leader – Security Services is responsible for supervising daily control room activities, supporting the NOC Service Manager, and ensuring the effective coordination of security operations across Australia. This role bridges frontline operational delivery and management oversight ensuring that operators perform at high standards, incidents are managed effectively, and communication remains clear, compliant, and customer-focused. The Team Leader supports shift coverage, quality assurance, staff mentoring, and escalation management across the 24/7 roster. Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership Supervise and support NOC Operators during rostered shifts, ensuring operational coverage and adherence to procedures. Coordinate day-to-day security monitoring, alarm response, incident management, and dispatch operations. Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of incident logging, shift handovers, and service reporting. Provide real-time decision-making support to operators, including escalation management and incident coordination. Maintain active oversight of national rosters, shift replacements, and service fulfilment. Conduct daily operator briefings and debriefings to review performance, incidents, and key priorities. Support the NOC Service Manager in implementing training, audits, and process improvements. Experience & Qualifications Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a security control room, operations centre, or service coordination role. Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader capacity (preferred). Strong working knowledge of CCTV, access control, and alarm monitoring system Security Licence (Minimum 1E licence) – essential Proficiency with Microsoft Office and dispatch/incident management platforms. First Aid Certificate and knowledge of WHS practices (desirable). Skills & Attributes Strong leadership and mentoring abilities with a focus on teamwork and accountability. Calm and decisive under pressure with excellent situational awareness. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Highly organised and attentive to operational detail.
