Animator/Motion Designer

Our in‑house animation and eLearning team is dedicated to crafting innovative and engaging digital stories. We’re looking for a talented Animator with expertise in After Effects, Adobe Creative Suite and Articulate 360 Storyline to join our team. You’ll handle multiple projects, bringing versatility in writing, storyboarding, animation, graphics and post‑production. This role is ideal for a highly creative individual with strong technical skills who can manage concurrent projects while producing visually engaging content. You’ll collaborate closely with our creative team to understand project needs, develop compelling concepts and deliver high‑quality animated videos and eLearning courses. Key Responsibilities Design & Animate: Develop scripts, storyboards and animations (including motion graphics & infographics for eLearning) tailored to diverse clients. Collaboration: Work with our creative team to understand project requirements, develop concepts and provide direction and guidance on each project. Project Management: Utilise project management tools (Notion, Trello, Monday.com) to manage creative production effectively. Detail‑Oriented Execution: Deliver consistent, high‑quality work, ensuring precision and meeting project deadlines. Creative Vision: Maintain a strong, innovative creative vision that aligns with brand guidelines and campaign objectives. Feedback Adaptation: Incorporate feedback effectively, offering creative solutions to design challenges. Core Responsibilities Script Writing: Develop compelling scripts for animated video projects. Conceptual & Pre‑production Art: Create preproduction artwork, including storyboarding, to bring concepts to life visually. Visual Assets for eLearning: Design and implement Storyline modules and graphical assets for eLearning in Articulate. Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the creative team, ensuring alignment with client needs and maintaining a smooth workflow. Positive Culture: Foster a collaborative, innovative and supportive team environment. Required Skills and Experience Creative Software Proficiency: Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects and Figma. Video & Animation Expertise: Strong grasp of video formats, resolutions and motion graphics. Instructional Design Knowledge: Articulate 360 Rise and Storyline is a plus. Attention to Detail: Excellent eye for visual elements, layout, typography and colour. Communication & Team Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative, team‑oriented approach. Project Management: Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, with efficient time management under pressure. Problem‑Solving Aptitude: Eagerness to learn new software and adapt quickly to evolving project requirements. Work Authorisation: Must hold Australian work rights. Desired Skills and Experience Experience: 2+ years in a creative role is preferred. Technical Skills: Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and After Effects. Creativity & Innovation: A passion for pushing creative boundaries with visually engaging content. Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing a range of script writing, storyboarding, video editing, animation, motion graphics and visual storytelling.
