MRAEL are currently seeking a Sheetmetal Apprentice to join the team at Trans Vent. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands on experience and industry recognised training in a high-demand industry. Trans Vent is dedicated to manufacturing and fabricating spiral tubing and ducting for HVAC and construction projects. They pride themselves on quality, reliability, and service, offering in-house manufacturing and design assistance for a wide range of spiral tubing and piping projects.
About the position
As a Sheetmetal Apprentice you will assist in the manufacturing of air conditioning fittings from light gauge metal and some welding. Assist in the production, manufacture and repair of a range of light metal products Measure, cut and bend materials using hand and power tools Learn correct safety practices Support experienced sheet metal workers on various projects.

for: A strong willingness to learn with a passion and genuine interest for the industry Hardworking and reliable Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail Safety conscious and ability to work effectively in a team Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident Hold a current driver’s licence and have reliable transport Benefits of an Apprenticeship with MRAEL Earn and learn - Weekly wage Mix of on the job training (practical) and theory learning (TAFE) Nationally recognised qualification - Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication (Sheemetal)- MEM31922 Mentoring and support from commencement through to completion Access to our Apprentice Wellness Program Location: Penrith, NSW Work Type: Full Time Apprenticeship (Monday -Thursday, 7am - 3:30pm, Friday 7am - 1pm) - Overtime available at times.
