BHI’s primary purpose is to provide timely, accurate and comparable information on the performance of the NSW public healthcare system in ways that enhance the system’s accountability and informs efforts to improve healthcare. About the Opportunity This Lead, Strategy and Engagement role will play a key role in managing the development of the organisation’s new strategic plan, including ensuring effective stakeholder engagement in planning and prioritisation. The Lead will also undertake other strategy and engagement projects. Selection Criteria Demonstrated knowledge of state, national and international trends in health system performance measurement and reporting. Experience of developing strategy and/or policy, ideally in healthcare. Demonstrated expertise in stakeholder engagement and management in a healthcare or other public service context. Strong project design, planning and management skills and experience managing complex projects with competing priorities and deadlines. Able to interpret complex statistical information for a range of audiences. Advanced oral and written communication, interpersonal, negotiation, consultation and presentation skills. Proven strengths as a team player and in managing and motivating staff. Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent relevant experience. Need more information?
