About the role The Senior Learning & Development Consultant plays a pivotal role in designing, developing & delivering learning experiences at Cbus. You will design, develop, and implement impactful learning initiatives that support strategic projects and lead fund‑wide learning programmes that drive a culture of continuous learning and development. Working closely with business stakeholders, you will identify learning needs, provide expert advice, and deliver tailored solutions that meet both project requirements and fund‑wide priorities. This includes creating and maintaining high‑quality resources such as web‑based training, facilitator guides, and supporting materials using the ADDIE framework to ensure consistency and excellence. A key part of the role is also managing CLAIR, our in‑house learning management system, while also leveraging external platforms to create engaging, interactive content using text, visuals, video, and audio. By doing so, you’ll ensure Cbus employees have timely access to effective learning that strengthens and uplifts knowledge to deliver on strategic goals. Key Accountabilities Design and deliver engaging learning solutions including online courses, presentations and interactive modules using web‑based tools. Develop course concepts outlining content delivery, assessments, material and learning approaches. Collaborate with subject matter experts to create and update training content, applying the ADDIE model for instructional design. Evaluate and improve training materials, providing recommendations based on findings and reporting to stakeholders as required. Support projects, fund‑wide learning initiatives & administration, including training delivery, project management tasks and other reasonable learning & development activities to meet team objectives. What will you bring? Experience in a Senior Learning & Development Consultant role in superannuation or financial services. Relevant qualifications including a degree in a relevant discipline. Proven expertise in instructional design applying the ADDIE model with experience in facilitation & creating online and facilitator‑led training programs. Strong communication and collaboration skills including technical writing, facilitation and the ability to build effective stakeholder relationships. Creative and adaptable approach, delivering innovative and engaging learning solutions aligned with organisational needs.
