Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Painter and Decorator with a passion for large-scale projects. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for enhancing the visual appeal and durability of various facilities, leaving a lasting impact on the communities we serve. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, scraping, and sanding. Select and mix paints, stains, and coatings to achieve desired colours and finishes. Apply paint or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Ensure proper masking and protection of adjacent surfaces. Repair and patch surfaces as needed. Coordinate with project managers and team members to meet project deadlines. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations. Qualifications Proven experience as a Painter and Decorator on large-scale projects is desirable. Strong knowledge of painting techniques, equipment, and materials. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and a strong sense of craftsmanship. Physical stamina and dexterity for prolonged periods of painting and standing. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Reliable transportation to project sites. Safety certification and knowledge of safety procedures preferred.
