Patient Concierge - Medical Receptionist Arkaba Medical Centre RACGP SA Practice of the Year 2025 is seeking an Experienced Medical Receptionist to join our dedicated team. About the Role Patient Concierge (Medical Receptionist). We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Medical Receptionist to join our team in a very fast paced role at the front desk of a busy 24 GP Medical Practice. Patient concierge fulfills the traditional role of Medical Receptionist and additionally has a key function in the communication between patient and doctor. This role provides our patients with superior service and care, this often requires going “above and beyond” and a “can-do” attitude. The opportunity to become part of the AMC family we are currently offering a Permanent Part- time position of approx. 3-4 days per week. Key Responsibilities Greet our patients in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner. Schedule patient appointments by phone and in person. Prepare and settle patient accounts. Maintain patient records, requiring data entry with high level of accuracy. Assist doctors and nurses with administrative tasks as required. Absolute confidentiality regarding patient and practice information. About you Ability to work well under pressure. Friendly, efficient, organised, and adaptable. Ability to work both independently with initiative and as part of a team. Well-presented and punctual. Demonstrate a history of excellent customer service with a strong customer focus. Key Selection Criteria Must have previous recent experience in a general practice. Knowledge and experience in Best Practice Software desirable.
