home_work Hybrid Posted 1 day ago ABOUT THE COMPANY: TwoScots are partnering with a well-established Not-for-Profit organisation in Melbourne CBD. They're seeking a Group Accountant to join their close-knit Finance Team in an initial 3-month contract assignment to play a key role in accurate reporting, process improvement, and maintaining strong financial governance. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, this role is heavily involved in the monthly reporting cycle, support system automation initiatives, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement. CULTURE + BENEFITS: Central Melbourne location - hybrid work flexibility Purpose-driven organisation with a genuine impact Collaborative, values-led finance team Broad scope across reporting, audit, and systems improvement 120,000 per annum + super Potential to go permanent within a growing NFP RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Lead the monthly group reporting process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Maintain general ledger reconciliations and prepare supporting workpapers Oversee internal control compliance and strengthen financial frameworks Partner with the Financial Controller on audit, BAS, FBT, and statutory reporting Drive process automation and system improvements across finance Support the FP&A function and assist with ad hoc financial projects SKILLS + EXPERIENCE: CA/CPA qualified with tertiary degree in Accounting or Commerce 5+ years' experience in financial or group accounting, including strong GL accounting experience Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and reporting frameworks Experience using Microsoft Dynamics Business Central Proven experience with automation tools is a bonus Very fast learner with ability to hit the ground running.
