THE OPPORTUNITY We are seeking an experienced and driven Category Buyer to join our Head Office. Reporting to senior leadership, this role plays a key part in shaping category strategy, managing supplier partnerships, and driving commercial growth through effective range, pricing, and promotional initiatives. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and implement effective category plans to drive commercial performance. Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to support business objectives. Review and analyse category performance to identify opportunities for improvement. Partner with internal teams to deliver marketing and promotional initiatives. Oversee inventory levels to ensure consistent product availability. Support product development and category growth initiatives. Stay informed on market trends. ABOUT YOU 3–5 years’ experience in a Buyer or Category Management role, ideally within retail or trade-related industries. Strong commercial and negotiation skills, with success in building long-term supplier partnerships. Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail. Advanced Excel skills and strong data interpretation abilities. Confident communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
