Surgical Liaison Nurse - Reliever and Respiratory Units St Vincent's Health Australia – Fitzroy VIC Position Full time, Fixed term Maternity Leave backfill until 15th January 2027 Fitzroy location Flexible working arrangements Salary: YU11 ($102,278.80 per annum) pro rata. About the Role You will work closely with the Operations Manager for Planned Surgery, the Deputy Planned Surgery Manager, the Planned Surgery Team and the various surgical specialties to manage Planned Surgery Waiting Lists. Key deliverables include ensuring that patients are treated within their clinically indicated timeframe and facilitating timely access to care for our patients. Your Contribution Bachelor of Nursing, meeting the registration requirements of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia. Current Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia through AHPRA. Awareness of the Elective Surgery Policy and the Department of Health requirements. About Planned Surgery The Planned Surgery Management Team (PSMT) coordinates and case manages patients on the St Vincent's Hospital elective surgery waiting list in accordance with the planned surgery waiting list policy and the Department of Health Planned Surgery Access Policy. The PSMT is responsible for the case management of all patients across the surgical specialties at SVHM.
