Associate Director, Regional Contracts Lead

Associate Director, Regional Contracts Lead Global oncology company BeOne Medicines is seeking a Regional Contracts Lead to oversee and execute regional clinical contract agreements, including CTAs, investigator agreements, confidentiality agreements, and other related contracts. This role requires providing regional oversight at the program level and ensuring timelines and budgets meet BeOne standards. Responsibilities Functional line management of the regional Clinical Contracts team (Contract Managers and Contract Associates or equivalent) with feedback to support development. Potential authority through a POA to sign Investigator Contracts as authorized by BeOne Medicines Legal and Tax. Preserve and improve the negotiation process to meet financial and operational needs. Negotiate Clinical Site budgets within Fair Market Value and internal approval guidelines. Partner with Clinical Operations teams and CBO colleagues to improve contract and budget metrics and implement processes. Apply standards across project portfolios and support continuous improvement while developing TA-aligned strategies. Serve as regional escalation point for Clinical Site Contracts and provide oversight at the Program level. Leverage industry tools and data sources to provide budget and contract feedback aligned with BeOne parameters. Identify delays and provide solutions; escalate nonperformance as needed. Oversee contract negotiations, identify risks, and ensure timelines/lifecycle are managed in various regions. Conduct regional oversight of Clinical Site Contracts to ensure completion per standards and timelines; implement mitigation plans as necessary. Develop and implement new policies and procedures based on identified needs. Other tasks as requested by departmental and company leadership. Supervisory Responsibilities Yes Skills and Tools Microsoft Office, CTMS, Contract Lifecycle Management System, Veeva, Jira, SharePoint, and related tools. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree; JD highly preferred or 8+ years of experience managing and negotiating clinical trial agreements and budgets. Experience in the CRO or pharmaceutical industry is essential. Good knowledge of ICH-GCP, pharmaceutical regulations and laws; understanding of clinical trial contracting and related practices; awareness of regulatory compliance in clinical research. Proven negotiation, interpersonal and business skills; strong planning and organizational skills; ability to work independently in a dynamic environment. Fluency in English; local language skills if applicable; strong written and verbal communication and conflict resolution capabilities. Proactive team player with ability to maintain high performance during ambiguity and change. Experience in financial, budget, cost management/analysis, accounting, and/or financial planning is desirable. Knowledge of Intellectual Property, Publication, Indemnification, and other site contract issues in clinical research. Willingness to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment; ability to work with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
