About the Role We are currently looking for an experienced Production Manager to join our team. Key duties will include: Developing and implementing actionable production plans aligned to short and long‑term goals Leading and mentoring a small production team (3 Operators + Team Leader) Ensuring plant efficiency through routine inspection, proactive maintenance, and fault correction Implementing practical manufacturing procedures to achieve consistent and scalable outcomesOverseeing safety, quality, production planning, warehouse, reprocessing and environmental functions Coordinating with Finance and Sales to align material supply with production demand Monitoring and reporting on production and QA results within ERP systems Conducting in‑process and finished product inspections Managing packing, labelling, despatch, and stock control processes Planning maintenance, shutdowns and product changeovers Overseeing contractor work, asset registers, and spare parts management Driving continuous improvement and building a disciplined, high‑performing production culture Requirements Holds a relevant trade qualification (e.g. Boilermaker, Fitter & Turner, Mechanic, Toolmaker) Has prior experience leading a production or manufacturing team Has knowledge of production planning, reporting, and manufacturing management systems Possesses several years operational experience within a manufacturing environment Understands root‑cause analysis and corrective/preventive action systems Is competent using ERP and production reporting tools Holds a current High‑Risk Work (Forklift) Licence and QLD Driver Licence Can successfully pass pre‑employment medical, drug/alcohol testing, and police check Has unrestricted Australian working rights Benefits Company vehicle, laptop and mobile phone On‑site parking Four‑day work week (Monday–Thursday) Opportunity to lead in a modern, fully automated manufacturing facility Stable full‑time position with a growing regional employer To apply, hit ‘Apply Now’.
