Clinical Lead

Overview The Occupational Therapy Clinical Lead (Education and Support) at Launceston General Hospital works in collaboration with Allied Health leadership to promote a positive learning culture, coordinate pre‑entry student placements, and support early‑career graduate OTs to build capability, competence and confidence in OT practice, ensuring safe and effective clinical services. Details of Appointment Permanent part‑time day worker, 38 hours per fortnight, commencing 1 March 2026. Selection process may be used to fill similar vacancies over the next 12 months. Salary $123,717 to $134,336 pro rata per annum, 11.5% superannuation contribution on top. Salary range follows Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022. Salary Packaging Access to salary package benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 and meal entertainment up to $2,650 per FBT year, plus other eligible benefits. Allowances Subject to qualifications and/or application to the personal upgrade scheme for salaries beyond $130,900. Professional Development Allowance up to $1,000 per annum. Eligibility Satisfactory completion of an appropriate allied health professional course of study at a recognised tertiary institution and registration with the relevant National Board (or membership with the relevant professional association for self‑regulated professions). Desirable criteria: Five or more years post‑graduate experience as an allied health professional, including experience supervising and supporting pre‑entry students and new graduate professionals. Postgraduate qualifications in education and/or clinical teaching and learning (or currently working towards). Current driver’s licence.
