Senior Account Manager | Digital Strategy & Project Lead Upstairs is an independent, fast‑scaling digital marketing agency focused on clarity, strategy, and meaningful commercial impact. We value high‑quality work, a no‑ego approach, and disciplined performance execution. The Role As Senior Account Manager, you are the strategic and operational engine of our client relationships. You are responsible for growing brands and architecting campaigns that generate high‑quality leads. This is a "Player‑Coach" role: you will lead the account strategy and mentor our Account Manager, while acting as a master of project management to ensure our Media, Design, and Programming teams deliver work that is on time and on brief. Candidates must hold a valid work visa or have Australian work rights. Strategy, Brand Growth & Lead Generation Grow Brands: Develop and execute digital roadmaps tailored to our diverse client base. Quality Lead Generation: Maintain a relentless focus on lead quality and conversion, linking digital activity to genuine business impact. Organic Growth: Proactively identify service gaps and expansion opportunities to increase client lifetime value. Rigorous Project Management End‑to‑End Oversight: Own the project lifecycle from discovery and scoping through to final QA and delivery. Resource Coordination: Manage the competing priorities of our Media Buyer, Designers, and Programmers to eliminate bottlenecks. Scope & Margin Control: Guard against "scope creep" to protect agency profitability while delivering exceptional value. Workflow Discipline: Maintain structured tasking and documentation using our project management stack to ensure "friction‑free" delivery. Internal Briefing: Translate complex client needs into crystal‑clear, actionable briefs for our technical and creative specialists. Mentorship: Directly support and develop our Account Manager, fostering a culture of precision and accountability. Stakeholder Lead: Confidently adapt your communication style to engage effectively with both small business owners and corporate marketing teams. Who You Are Experience: 4–6 years in an Australian digital agency environment. International Experience: International digital agency experience will be considered equivalent to Australian experience. PM Powerhouse: You love structure and thrive on creating order out of ambiguity. Technical Literacy: Confident with the "language" of GA4, Meta Business Manager, and Google Ads. Platform Proficiency: Demonstrated experience in regular campaign setup across GA4, Meta Business Manager, and Google Ads.
